Chris Peers Modern Rules
« on: 20 September 2009, 09:42:19 AM »
What is the difference between "At Close Quaters" and "A Corner Of Hell"?
Is "A Corner Of Hell" a supplement or a stand alone system?
Does "At Close Quaters" work with units as "Futures Wars" does or are they based on single figures?

Not sure. I think the mod rules use a D20 but not sure of the other. I think theybare different. There is Yahoo groups for both. You might find a QRS.

I'll check the files this morning if I can and give you a quick rundown today. Sorry for the delay. :)

At Close Quarters: Skirmish rules for the 20th and early 21st centuries. More modern warfare than WWII. When a Corner of Hell came out, Chris revised At Close Quarters to represent more modern and very near future.

A Corner of Hell: Skirmish rules for World War II, based on the "At Close Quarters" system. Contains selected platoon organizations.

So, yes, they use the same mechanics. At Close Quarters is based on units. Both use a d6 and d20.
