Warhammer Quest Silver Tower
« on: October 24, 2021, 03:15:52 PM »
Hi all, I recently dig out my Silver Tower box from the pile of shame as I needed a miniature for our RPG session. And will probably do few more from that box as they are great for player characters for our dnd party.
Fyreslayer Doomseeker - I used too subtle color to shade runes on his back and they look like they weren't shaded at all... other than that I'm pretty happy with him. :)

Knight-Questor - one of the playable characters.

I wanted to try the furry look on the cloak, was basing it on some video I found online. Not a great result but good enough for the first try.

The orgroid looks marvelous!

The ogroid would work perfectly as a Khorne daemon or a beastman (or a khornate beastman), I really like how it came out.

How did you manage such a nice dark colour?

Also that cloak *chef kiss*

I'm glad you like it. :)

Main color on Ogroid is Incubi Darkness from GW its kind of deep blue/grey, its very specific I never seen it in other ranges. I also highlighted it with a mix of that plus very little of lighter blueish-grey color.

Agree on the Ogroid, the contrast between the dark skin and the runes looks very striking. I love the cross-hatched texture on the cloak too- very nicely done :)

Thanks, that was my plan - very dark mini with glowing runes.
