I know it's Xmas, but 2 weeks is a bit much for 2nd signed. Though something I ordered recent was due on the 6/12, and turned up on the 13/12 - and that was just a letter.

Royal mail seems a bit of a shambles at present, I've got a first class signed for letter that's still MIA after ten days.  I can replace the box of bits but would suggest we wait till January.

Yeah two weeks does seem excessive. I'll check with neighbours, but my neighbours are all pretty good at bringing things round that have been mis-delivered.

Not your fault. You should put in for compensation for the missing parcel though if you've still got the paperwork, we  might get £40 or £50 for it that we could always donate to charity.

Hi guys.

Massive apologies for dropping the ball on this one and for you all fearing it had gone missing, and especially for Painterz’s guilt thinking it was in any way his responsibility. It’s not gone missing in the post, as I never managed to send it sorry.

Long story short my life got turned on its head and I’m sorry to say I completely forgot about sending it. My partner just came across it sorting through our things.

It’s on its way to the post office this morning. I know it can’t make up for this massive delay but I’ll use whichever postage option that will get it to Painterz the fastest.

Once again apologies and I understand if you want me to drop out of the next round or leave the sprue exchange all to gather as a penalty

It took me nearly 3 weeks to get a look at it last time and send it on - real-life comes first.

I suspect we are all more happy its still alive and moving rather than lost forever in postal limbo, and now we all know.

Just maybe remember to get a tracking number receipt to pin up, so you got proof for yourself that its done, with my memory now its as important to have a physical reminder I have done something as anything else!

Second class recorded being what I use normally.

Hoped I’d kept it under 2kg but it’s 2.226kg so Painterz may want to lighten it to reduce postage costs.
