All I can say is it'll be out this year,

. I took a break from my dungeon crawl (burning out after two years straight of working on it)...and I decided to relax by designing a fantasy skirmish game....during the middle of which my buddy wanted to play Necromunda without playing Necromunda.
So...like an idiot, I'm now working on both games simultaneously, but the core concepts are done, the decks/tokens have been designed, it's just a matter of playtesting it a lot and then typing up the proper rule book.
Without tooting my own horn, it provides an exceptionally fun game thus far. A lot of classic Necromunda "feel" with more interesting dice mechanics. Gotta put the campaign through its paces, but both the fantasy and post-apocalyptic gang versions are really enjoyable thus far. People pick it up quick, and it manages to create a compelling story within the game itself, which is pretty cool.
Will post more here as we're about to start some trial campaigns.
