Expedition to the Barrier Peaks?

Has anyone ever converted Expedition to the Barrier Peaks from a D&D module to a Frostgrave campaign?

I have a copy of the Goodman Games version of Expedition to  the Barrier Peaks and I am thinking of doing something like this at some point.

It sounds like a great idea. It might be worth noting that the Reaper Bones froghemoth is still in production but is now called a mudgullet.

Spotting that model awhile back helped inspire the idea. That and the two Reaper Bones Vegepygmies.

WizKids has a froghemoth in production as well, which is a bit smaller but less expensive.  I've got a review/gallery of the Mudgullet I did a few years back over here:

Mantic's Deadzone Nameless range has a pretty good scifi Mind Flayer proxy for that one below decks encounter, although you could also use the Stargrave kits for one.



Making a Wolf-In-Sheep's-Clothing should be trivial - sculpt a tree stump with a rabbit on top and some tentacles, or just throw together parts from the bits box.

Old commission job, never actually done a froghemoth for myself.  I think I actually liked the Pacesetter sculpt better, but it seems to be permanently OOP - they don't do minis any more.

I've got a circular kitchen table, don't you? 

Kind of like circular layouts myself.  The ship itself is quite a bit too large to do this even in 15mm scale, but I've made RPG layouts in years past where the PCs were invading a wizard's tower and each floor's layout was built inside a large flowerpot drainage saucer.  They come in a bunch of sizes, don't cost an arm and a leg, and these days you can even get them in a variety of shapes, including hexagonal ones.  Worth a browse through your local garden center or online.

The goal being to try to express the story of Barrier Peaks to Mrs. GG (as she is unfamiliar with it) through the medium of Frostgrave or perhaps Rangers of Shadow Deep.

Yeah, it's really just too big to approach a whole level at once in miniatures form.

I haven't seen the Goodman Games version but I understand it expands on the original a fair bit?
