Sorry for the slight derail, but is that tooth paste I see in that last picture? And a computer mouse with... A gel-pad?

ahaha, toothpaste? i have to admit, i have almost everything, but i miss that... :P
the mouse is a MX518, and I know that it looks horrible (it is just a pattern, not gel)... but it is something awesome for gaming!!! XD

actually, 15mm is 15mm... I've been working on it lately for two reasons: first, it's my first project, and working on a smaller scale is REALLY cheaper. Secondly, here in Italy there's a lot of FoG players,so i think they should be a good target!

I think he only started
and since he noticed (or better - planned) that the door piece is higher than the others, I guess there will be a 1cm piece with finestrelle for the ground foor window pieces as well as corner pieces with stonework
I started, but I cannot do everything! that's the point: since we have in milan a lot of wonderful buildings, i took some inspiration by them. But i want to make some berlin look houses, so i avoided some particular traits that are from milan buildings... anyway, maybe I will... for now, i will just keep working on that stuff... but you're giving me tons of suggestions! that's great!

I like 15-20mm scale, I just don't have very many figures of that scale. I would be interested in the future though if you ever make these available.

Fast question: flat roof or tiled roof?

flat roof means more surfaces where to put minis, means more possibilities on modular combinations, and a bit cheaper products (less parts, more flat parts)
tiled roof means more estetic, more realistic and much more mittleuropean...

I'm sayng that cuz I'm just starting now to make the roof...

We have a lot of 15mm and 20mm players at our club, so no worries about the scale being popular, especially for WWII gamers.

As for the roof, make both versions, flat roof and tiled roof. Gives you double the options on the finished version.

Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

ok, I'll reformulate my question: shall I make before the flat or the tiled? I would like to finish this for november, before adding different modular possibilities, so I have to decide, for now, whattodo! :P

OK

make it flat
this way you keep your options open and it is easier
whoever wants a tiled roof should be able to build one from cheap model railway material
yet it is more difficult to convert a tiled roof to a flat one

New images: that's the work I've done since now... I painted it cuz I'm REALLY bored, in this days, for the study...

anyway, still the windows ar missing, and the facade ins't so strainght, cause it is made of a wrong mould.... there are also the second and third floor that are the same, but I am still making another fersion for the upper roof...

here's a shot, it is just a uncompleted preview, and it should be painted much better than so... I'm not a painter, and I don't pretend to be! :):):)

cheers,
Jack
