Alternate builds of new 28mm Gear Krieg models

Been busy printing out the models and painting/recombining them for the social media posts.  I’ve also finished the British Cavaliers and Italian LCA mechs, but can’t reveal just yet!

I’ve designed these models to have cross compatibility with some pieces.  For example the Valkyrie cupola will fit right into the early top hull.

Some interesting ideas. 
They look like they'd work well with mine. Although it'd be late summer before I can reboot this long stalled project. ( I think it'll be some where around the twenty year mark since I made some for Jim's Graven Images )

Some quick paint-ups of the US General Early with a 1/50 diecast Corgi Sherman and some 28mm Bolt Action figures for comparison. The Early with the M16 Quad .50cal AA mount is a kitbash, the actual AA turret will be available later in the year. Note that one Early kit is in "travel mode." Something I like about Gear Krieg designs is that the mecha can transition from Walking mode to Travel mode and scoot about like a normal vehicle, then go back to Walking mode for rough terrain, to attack from behind cover and so on.
