Now that's a good looking game.  Nice figs and terrain.

FYI, if you ever get the chance, it's a good battlefield to visit.  Of course, which one isn't? 8)

Yes, Stones River is a finely preserved field. Which one isn't? Any where the historical markers are on traffic islands across from the used car lot.

Well, there is that.  Seen plenty of those, and similarly situated markers.  At least there's a marker - better than nothing I suppose.

Which one isn't?
Any battlefield in the UK with the sole exception of Culloden, for starters...  lol

Well, this may be semantics, but I did say "good to visit", not "well-preserved"...

I've been lucky enough to visit a few battlefields in the UK (Culloden, Stirling Bridge, Bannockburn, and Killicrankie, all in Scotland), and Culloden is indeed the best of the 4 in terms of preservation and interpretation!

But, of course, none of that changes your splendid game and report... :D

Read through the AAR.  Huzzah for the boys in blue!  Very fast read for so much to report - will probably read agin a little slower.

Pity about the issue with tables and the joins - such challenges mess with our plans but, still, the show must go on and yours did quite well.

Now, what we all want to see is a photo or seven of the game that out-did yours for first place.  It must have been something special.

Cheers fellas!  :D

The winner was good.  It was a very nice 28mm F&IW game and can be seen at the bottom of JJ's blog-post here: https://jjwargames.blogspot.com/2021/11/warfare-2021-wargames-association-of.html

Well, that FIW game is rather nice.  And thanks for the link.  Yours is still top drawer.  Might be the lighting but maybe for the next outing, a bit of dry brushing on the roads will improve what is already danged good.
