Thanks a lot - really appreciate it! Here's a couple of classic GW orcs, all plastic parts from around 1999-2000 with some 'new' axes from the mid 00's range - all painted up as a pair of dirty, rusty and all around nasty pair of gitz.

Some great figures here. I like your take on draugr and your necromancer too. Great stuff.

Alright - time for an update! I've kinda finished my Undead warband so more pics will follow but for now I'll post a bunch of Draugr as well as some Skeleton warriors.

The Draugr lord, or some kind of Barrow Wight, is based on the King from GW with a lot of bits and pieces from Oathmark and other GW kits:

Skeleton Champion with some "armoured" warriors, Oathmark with GW head swaps. Helmets are Oathmark as well, chopped off and filed down to fit the chopped GW skulls:

And some more Draugr, you've already seen the first one on page one and these guys follow the same procedure - GW sculpts with Oathmark shields, and a dull and Draugish paintscheme to bring out all the details otherwise obscured by the GW vanilla ghost scheme:

I completely agree, those all look excellent! Just my opinion, but I think the added parts are a big improvement on the originals. They just seem a lot grittier than the glowing ghost versions in the LotR film.

Thanks a lot everyone - I really appreciate it. Anyway - more skellies! You seem to like 'em, so here are my five latest archers (working on five more atm) as well as a standard bearer. Oathmark "bodies" - I really like them since they're smaller than GW ones, so they look great against my Perry humans. However, while the bodies, arms and shields are great - I'm not a fan of the skulls: hence the GW ones used here!
