@Pattus Magnus: Thank you very much! These figures are pretty big, but also got that pretty much impeccable casting quality. So they're rather fun to paint, albeit time intensive since each and every one of them is a character. So batch painting is a no-go in this case.

Just feels right for the setting, and they make the cars a ton more interesting. Of course they don't make much sense (back when I painted the first few cars I looked at photos of reflections on cars and other things a LOT), but in a sort of stylized, slightly-cartoon-ish way I think they work. Which of course is always the cheap way out.
If I'd gone for proper realistic reflections all across the cars the time invested would have gone up way more, the enjoyment of just mucking about would have diminished, and it probably would never have looked quite right unless there's terrain to match. It's kinda like with some OSL or NMM (the way we see it now on mostly 40k figures makes very, very little sense, but it looks cool.
). Last but not least, I just did it because few months prior I'd seen a paintjob on one of the Colony87(?) range cars by Crooked Dice doing a very similar thing, which just looked just immensely appealing to me and which just made me smile. Which happens rarely with looking at paintjobs, especially back last winter.

@hubbabubba, Michi: Funny you should mention that. Daeothar cited the same model before. Given with how many film references Black Site Studios work with that range I can't rule out that this is a film car with a Renault 5 used as a basis and I just didn't get the reference.
Or the model (which obviously is drawn up on a computer) itself was just based on a Renault 5 and they drew things on.
