Some photos of the Agincourt scenario play-test this afternoon, using Rob Jones' own rule set and very period specific they are too. The French are lining up at their jump off points in these photos.

Each of the Captains has his own character card with a command ability and trait (these can convey both positive and negative effects into the game). The cards are a bit big at the moment, so hopefully these can be condensed down to smaller than playing card size.

Here you can see the English Army of Henry V lined up in battle formation, clearly I need more stakes to slow those dandy frogs down.

The initial French cavalry charge weathered the arrow storm and punched the Welsh Bowmen back in the centre. In retaliation, the English men at arms counter attacked and destroyed the French in the centre, capturing the Marshal of France in the engagement.

After a couple of turns of hand to hand combat, the English men at arms began to get the upper hand and destroyed the two remaining French cavalry units. They subsequently reformed lines, ready to receive the French MAA on foot who were trudging across the muddy fields.

By the time the remaining French infantry made it across the muddy field, the English were well prepared and buoyant on their earlier victories. As a result, they quickly broke the back of the French and the battle ended a resounding victory for God, Saint George and King Henry.

French mounted nobles and squires led by Jean d'Orléans, Count of Dunois, known as the "Bastard of Orléans". This unit is the last of the French heavy cavalry. Montjoie Saint Denis!!!

Again, they are beyond amazing. How do you get all the fine detail work like that?

English mounted Men at Arms, including nobles such as the Earl of Northumberland and Baron Robert Scales. This is my only mounted English MAA unit in the collection, compared to 72 mounted French.
