Which would seem to beg the question ''Was anyone inspired to create figs by the two Osprey 'Steampunk Soldiers'' tomes?" 

If one follows the link, then clicks the left arrow Correction: right arrow on the image, I think some of those plates were used, but lost my copies of the books in an unfortunate bugout from my domicile.
