That looks really cool.   I'll give the video a look later.

I recently bought my son a shoebox full of Star Wars Collectible Miniatures at a collectible/toy shop and it would be fun to use them in a game with him.

Anyone care to comment on the complexity and play time of the game as compared to Song of Blades and Heroes or old-style Necromunda?

The Fistful of Lead core rules are very easy to pick up and I've played with young family members as young as 9 with no issues. Games aren't all nighters either, you can get several games in quite comfortably in an evening.

Certainly concur with Elk here my eight-year recently enjoyed a Fistful of Lead Napoleonic game and he is keen to try the rules for other settings. At the same time, the rules can appeal to experienced wargamers too. So if you have as yet not tried Fistful of Lead what are you waiting for?

Great looking games in that video with the only possible exception being Axis and Allies which is really not my cup of tea. Especially like the Masters of the Universe game.

Just skimmed through the video.  Does anyone know the maker of the sci-fi flatbed hover truck that makes an appearance around 2:00? I've bought a couple at Adepticon a couple years back and would like to get more.   I recall them being pretty affordable and I bought a pretty cool pickup-style speeder as well.

Thanks folks,
Just picked up the previous edition for $3.  Too cheap to not to try.   Does sound like something I'd be interested in and it would also give me a reason to paint up my good-sized collection of Imperial Assault minis as well.

All the terrain and the truck are (stls) from Corvus Terrain with the exception of some fine smaller pieces from Oshiro. I printed everything but I assume you can buy them already printed.
Be aware, the old version is just that. The newest version adds a bunch of new stuff including much better rules for armor.

Found them.  Designer is Imperial Terrain.
Items are the:
-R47 lift truck
-Armoured Shuttle

Good to know they're still available.

March to Victory was a solid convention. Maybe small but every table was a gem. I'd not played Fistful of Lead previously and left the show with Galactic Heroes and Bigger Battles. Setting up to play at home.

My son and myself appear in Tatoonie game section, teen in black shirt and grey hair in grey pull over. That was the game of the show for me. Son loved it but his favorite was the giant airship battle.

I would have liked to see a bit more of the Battleground HD Vietnam table. But I am biased as I worked on that terrain.

The battleground table was great. Unfortunately I was not in charge of taking pictures. Too busy running games. I hope they return next year.
