I love the look of that ringfort. Reminds me a lot of some of the old ruins dotted around the coasts of Galicia. Such are the joys of 15mm that a whole one can be included in a battle without needing to commandeer the floor for a decent game.

I planned the next scenario out, got many dwarfs in shiny armor in reserve. Rescue mission is on its way.

That’s going to be interesting! Finally the dwarfs can turn the table…unless there’s some new devilry coming out of the dark!

Starting the new year, by finishing a bigger mini from my lead pile. Inspired by DivisMals Lord of the Ring Dragon and the also beaten by him with his nurgle dragon, i wanted to show you guys my take on a rotten Nurgle Dragon.
Its a true old school model, still available from RalPartha (Zombi Drake) and i think in my possession for more than 6 years maybe more. Was always primed, but i couldn't figure our that color scheme i wanted to chose.
I have to say, still was hard, but now i reached a level there I'm very satisfied with the result. For sure i could sink some more hours in blending and highlighting some parts, but i don't know if i want to do that before basing. Still a bit undecided how to pose that cute little dragon  :D Also maybe i will add some gore.

But here you go straight from the work bench:

Better pics will follow then based properly. Maybe one of you guys has some good idear, i think he nedds some verticality. Somehow this little fellow has a realtive rare online presence, even in the oldhammer forums.

Wow! That thimg is right out of my favorite shop (Spiel & Fantasie, later Fantasy Encounter, Essen): you’ve done a beautiful paintjob on one of the best dragons ever made. Really great brushwork  :-* :-* :-*

Now what can Hermann do against such forces?! It’s the second time in a few weeks that a dragon of Nurgle has been sighted! Is this the hour? The Black Era where Chaos will rise and consume the realms of the living?

Thank you.

About Hermann, i hope to get him on the Table tomorrow. Is Chaos ever sleeping? Do Nurgle Dragons sleep? I don't think so  lol
Also I finished today a priest of sigmar, which has to investigate some strange Villagers. They wear some strange red capes and have long tentacles. More in the upcoming days, after basing them.

Oh, that’s just the benevolent order of the poor friars of doom! They probably just collect some presents, weapons preferably, for the annual staging of the „Sack of Praag“. This year, that’s the rumor, they have something extraordinary planned!

I think you described a scenario there, i got the priest, i got the cossacks as 'Texas rangers' and we should investigate the surroundings of praag.

That sounds pretty awesome! Fierce beastmen tribes, cultists and steppe rangers! Borderlands scenarios offer so many opportunities!

Great thread. I'm keen on trying Forbidden Psalm soon too, and found your comparison with similar rules really helpful. Really like the hill fort too.

That dragon is spectacular.

I was finally able to take same pictures of what i did the last week.

Starting with the Zombie Dragon, man I love this model. :-*

I decided to give him a fiery throat.

More Spiders from Kastina Minatures from Ireland

Some Random things i needed to finish

And then we have my priest of Sigmar, i converted him from an Alternativ Army Paladin. He is surrounded by some villagers who need an investigation ;)

Some Terrain and a Snail from Alternative Armies

And last but not least, a big reinforcement for my khorne guys. Chaos Dwarf Khorne Crossbows, my spin in 15mm on the classic 3th edition miniatures. Base there Ral Partha Dwarfs, modified only the Helmets/Hats.
