Cyberpunk Sprawl

I've just finished the first of my planned Cyberpunk buildings. They're designed to give a low level battleground for near future conflicts using the Rezolution and Star Mogul rules (amongst others).

This is basically a project I'm doing with my students at school so it'll meander along at its own pace

Nicely done. I bought a cubano from a place like that once. I'm sure in the age of Gibson and Sterling the cubano sandwich will be regulated by law. Or outlawed for delicious goodness.

The Japanese on the lanterns and the side says 'Sush'i. On the other side of the balcony it says 'Noodles'.

I LOVE the "pins-for-stools" idea!  

Do you still intend to paint the sidewalk in front of the store? Since it is so close in colour to the walls, the model looks a bit unfinished, somehow...

The sidewalk's exactly the same colour, which was intentional. Almost everything on the finished table will be that colour with shop fronts and the ocassional painted wall will be different and the roadways will be grey.

Putting the building on a grey baseboard changes the look of the sidewalk but the baseboard is too big to fit in my photo area so you'll just have to take my word for it

I'm actually toying with the idea of painting everything as if it was night time in which case Ethan's Eatz won't make it onto the final board at all...

I like it, I think the colour scheme goes well with your figures, the black/yellow deal. Why not paint them like that then it can be their home territory?

Some of the buildings will sport Crazy Bee colours but they're not the only APAC crew on the block.

Ulalah Banzai and the Space Channel 5 crew will have some buildings sporting a fetching blue and orange motif and Mystical Ninja Goemon and the Peach Mountain Shoguns will have theirs too.
