Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Ministry, Revolting Cocks, The Young Gods, Creaming Jesus, Aphex Twin, U.N.K.L.E, all good to have on a cyberpunk playlist.

A much more aggressive feel, but it helps me.. Concentrate.

Sigue Sigue Sputnik - Love Missile F1-11

The video is as 80s Cyberpunk as it can get.

Also, stuff from The Clash like Anarchy in the U.S. and Clash City Rockers.

I always have a really difficult time when it comes to Cyberpunk/EBM/Industrial type stuff.

While I am a huge fan of music that mixes genres, especially when it comes to electronic and punk/metal, it seems that the songs I really like the music for almost with out fail have vocals I simply cannot stand.

The most common offender for me in this is the kinda hissy monotonous "cybergoth" style of vocals, something I run into a lot because I tend to like faster and heavier music.

There is one automatic go to for me when it comes to Cyber inspiration though...
The Batman Beyond soundtrack along with the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker movie soundtrack.

So totally schway.

Tympanik Audio is I think more or less consciously going for a cyberpunkish/scifi angle in their publications. A lot of free downloads and samples here:
http://tympanikaudio.com/downloads/

For example Access To Arasaka's Orbitus is explicitly based on Richard Morgan's Takeshi Kovacs books.

Up in Canada, Cyclic Law specializes in darker side of ambient and industrial, if you want your cyberpunk to feel eerie and atmospheric they have quite a bit of stuff to offer:
http://www.cycliclaw.com/

There is a ton of other stuff of course but those have quite a lot of the "instrumental only" music. All the same, I would for the last also definitely recommend Clock Dva's seminal 1991 album Man-Amplified. It doesn't say cyberpunk anywhere on the tin but the subject matter is almost completely to do with human machine interfacing and other staples of that genre.

Godflesh  :-*  and EARLY Pitchshifter are worth checking, more Industrial than Cyberpunk IMO.

Never got my head around all the differant labels- EBM, Industrial etc. Same with all the assorted Hardcore stuff- Crust,Hate,Metal etc.

It's all Punk rock & roll to me. :D

With the fell power of thread necromancy, I resurrect thee! lol

Happened upon Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury's joint project Drokk the other day in the local music library. The music is inspired by, well, you guessed it: Judge Dredd. Possibly not quite coinicidentally produced around the time the new movie came out, but officially unrelated AFAIK. Largely produced on Oberheim 2 Voice Synthesiser from late 1970's, it may sound a little too retro for cyberpunk hailing from early 1980's but I'd say it's worth a listen. Streaming here:

Ouch... Are you trying to anger the masses. What about all the other great Cyberpunk movies out there, like Johnny Mnemonic, Lawnmower Man, Dead End Drive-In or Cafe Flesh. (Those last two actually made it into the suggested viewing list for the GURPs Cyberpunk sourcebook. Took forever to find Dead End Drive-In at the rental stores. This was a long time ago.)

Bit of threadomancy here. I stumbled across this soundtrack and thought it just had everything I want in a sci-fi theme:

Very 80s. I love it.
