Oriental civilians?
« on: October 07, 2009, 01:58:53 AM »
A way back, there was a bit of excitement over some new oriental civilian minis that were shown here. Silly me decided to not bookmark them, and sure as shit, I need 'em! I have no details that would be useful to search other than the fact that they were quite lovely! Maybe 10 or so unpainted minis?

Please help!!

Obelisk has the China Town Tong which includes merchants and buyers. Very nice and I'm waiting on a new batch together with some baboons and hyenas.
Cheers,

I just started the Old Glory Chinese Laundry set and they are nice 5 figures on the smallish size(but I do alot with Black Scorpions cowboys) they should fit with most others. The set comes with a young woman standing another woman who looks like she is hang cloths to dry. I man carrying a bundle and man leaning on a stick and a man in top hat who looks like a boss type.

It's probably the Obelisk ones. Great figures!

Pulp Figures has some as well.

This thread from the Pulp forum?

I think these are the same Obelisk ones white knight is referring to.

Listed on the Obelisk website now. Tempting!

Perry miniatures also make some excellent civilians, they are in the age of wars section.

I just saw some very generic looking Asian civies on another thread here. They are Vietnamese from West Winds' NAM series. http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/popup_image.php?pID=253
