Earth, wind, fire and water  :)

Preferably physical models and not too cartoony.

Why don't you take a look at Gamefound and look fpr:

Dragon's Hoard Miniatures Vol. 1 by Next Level Miniatures

Their late pledge ends on May 31st but you can pick up the elementals, I believe, in any number you want without hav8ng to purchase anything else. I went all in and added a bunch of extra items with many only at $1 each. Let me know how it goes. If not maybe I can help you out and add them to my pledge. I would only charge you the cost of the figures you want plus the postage to mail them to you...just a thought.

Otherworld has all four in their Dungeon Monsters range if you like the old school D&D style. If you can’t wangle a trade discount, buy ‘em with a bronze voucher.

Reaper has fire and water ones in transparent plastic, I think? Probably have some sort of stone golem in there too for an earth wizard.

There's also an old Ral Partha set of exactly those elements, but I'm not sure if they still sell it. The wind & earth elementals in that were very good, fire was kind of goofy, and water was just a wave, lol.

Yes, Reaper do some pretty decent earth golems/earth elementals that paint up nicely. The old Citadel C34 ones are still really nice. There's also a shed load on places like My Mini Factory for stls. The Bite The Bullet ones seem nice. The images below are website ones as I don't have them myself.

For the basic 4, I'd say the medium and large elementals from the WizKids Deep Cuts and Nolzur's line (If I remember right, the medium ones are Deep Cuts, the large are Nolzur's).

The two on the left are the medium water, the two on the right are medium earth (The middle is an old Mage Knight thing). I have the others stashed somewhere, I'd gotten them right before the lockdowns, when I started working on other projects and just haven't gotten back to them.

I also like the Reaper ones, especially the transparent/translucent ones...and their Large Earth one, but don't own them myself.

Scotia Grendel have a few different ones in their monster range a bit 1990s now but they have a certain old school charm.

Ral Partha Europe also have some nice old school elementals not the biggest miniatures but cheap.

The old Confrontation line had excellent greater elementals.
