These are fantastic! Great job  :)

If I may ask...where do you buy your clear bases?

Thanks!

Thanks!
Before the Brexit, I bought my clear bases from the UK. After the great disaster, the costs for european costumers are a nightmare, so I buy hundreds of bases from Aliexpress. The words Acrylic and Traslucent give you a lot of options in their page.

I'm totally unfamiliar with all of these characters, but they are awesome conversions and I love how much character they all have, in the figure and in the stats.  It's a complete injustice Walrus was never a HeroClix!

Thanks so much for sharing (sounds like we owe it to your wife and daughter, so thank them too please).

Thanks for your kind words, boywundyrx. Daughter and wife are properly thanked. I hope to post here one of our slugfests soon, just to show you how they beat my ass.

Basilisk (Wildcard)
M 6
BD7
PD6
Minor powers:Tough, Power blasts, Leaping
Backgrounds:Criminal, Arcane

Bengal (Street level)
M 10
BD 5
PD
5
Minor powers: Melee specialist, fast
Backgrounds:Athletics, Espionage

Basilisk's civil name is...wait for it...Basil Elks. So his unavoidable destiny is to shoot lasers from the eyes, turning people into stone or have a pair of antlers in his head.
Bengal is one of this good guys who began his career killing people for vengeance. Fortunately, he left those vices behind and now live happily with his wife and son. How many times have we a happy ending after a redemption process?

How do they keep getting better? But they do! Wow!

Thanks Scott. Now I'm blushing (specially because I bent your rules a little, and give Basilisk only three powers, instead of four)

Dracula (Powerhouse)
M 7''
BD 7
PD 6
Major powers: Scrapper, Resistance
Minor powers: Immortal, Parasite (Vampire), Dominance, Flight, Hinder, Iron Will.
Backgrounds: Arcane, Monarch

Cyclone (Street level)
M 6''
BD 5
PD 5
Minor powers: Flight, Telekinesis
Backgrounds: Science, Criminal

You see, I'm a sucker (pun intended) for The tomb of Dracula. Conway, Colan, Wolfman and Palmer created a comic which was beyond the standards of their age, and then turn the villain into the main character. And, although I love Werewolf by night or Tales of the zombie, I'm sure you are agree with me about how The tomb is something special. I want Dracula to be a force to be feared, as in his comics, so I cheated, ang give him Immortal (even when he is a Powerhouse type) and additional powers. Oh, and I deeply hate the new look that Marvel give to him, with that horrible armour. Marvel's Dracula is Palance(with moustache)!

You have a lame French supervillain here, too. Why hiring him when you have someone with the same powers but far more lethal, as Whirlwind? (probably because Cyclone do the job for the half of the money)

Now, I have a problem here, and need some assistance.  During our games, we started to be aware of how some characters don't deserve to have five Body and Psyche Damage points. They are no henchmen, but neither supers, and as we all know that some guy with some skills with a boomerang or a whip could be considered a super in Marvel comics, they are too weak to be a serious threat. Furthermore, we want to introduce civilians in our games, but every Spider fan could agree with me that a certain Mary Jane Watson is no normal civilian/damsel in distress, so one BD and PD damage boxes are too few, but five seems too much. Have you any house rules for your less-than-supers but more-than-bystanders characters? Maybe using the Servitor/Sidekick profile, with four BD and PD and one power?
To illustrate my point:

Screwball
(Minor level?)
M 8''
BD 4
PD 4
Minor powers: Super-agility
Backgrounds: Athletics, Performance

A hateful Spider-Man foe, a "living-streamer". She DOESN'T deserve to have five BD.

I think graduating the BD and PD down for characters your group deems "really" minor is a fine idea.

You could even assign them just one or two boosts.

Does a character like Whiplash (Blacklash) really rate "full" minor status in SMF? Well, maybe. His super-whip has lots of gadgets, he can fight a bit, and he wears an armored uniform. So yeah,  I would say yes to that.

But what about Kangaroo? He leaps. He can fight. That's it. He might only rate two Boosts. The same Health as Blacklash, I would argue.

I will be working on an SMF supplement for 2023 and I will address this, I think.

Keep the conversions coming. Fun stuff!

I'm unfamiliar with most of the characters you have converted, and man has it been too long since I had a game, but I love the conversion efforts.  Keep up the good work.

Whoopsie! This is what happens when your first language is not English, as you probably have taken note. I am reading again my post and find it is clearly ambiguous, sorry for that. Yes, Scott, I can't be more agree with you and your quote here. Street level is our more used archetype, and most of Marvel minor characters fit very well here. Whiplash, Kangaroo, Leap-Frog or Porcupine have survived punches from Spider-Man, Captain America or Daredevil and left the scene by their own feet, so they are clearly "more than regular humans", even when they haven't real powers. They have earned more than enough respect to fit as supers.
I am refering to characters like some popular agents of SHIELD, like Clay Quatermain, Gabe Jones or Sharon Carter, or some very minor villains, like the Death-Throws. Yes, they fought Hawkeye, but are so close to a bunch of goons with minor Power Blast as their only power that maybe a 4 BD and PD could be used. But I don't know, we need to test it more.

And about our civilians with more...mmm...personality than the rest- Mary Jane Watson, Rick Jones, Marlo Chandler, Jarvis..._ what about 3 BD and PD, and throwing 3D instead of the canonical 4D?
Oh, and a SMF supplement sounds better than great. Waiting for it with enthusiasm!

Thanks, eMills. Many of my conversions are from minor characters, but I think I'm going to include a reference to the fabulous Marvel Unnoficial Appendix page for each character I put here.

Now, talking about him...

Kangaroo (Street level)
M 6''
BD 5
PD 5
Minor powers: Leaping, Melee Specialist
Backgrounds: Athletics, Wild

Razorback (Street level)
M 6''
BD 5
PD 5
Minor powers: Melee Specialist, Damage Field
Backgrounds: Blue collar, Science

The first Kangaroo, a baddie so stupid he died on his second encounter with Spider-man. But he learn to fight from the packs of kangaroos, so he earns some respect (just because kangaroo boxing is always funny). http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix2/kangaroooliver.htm
And Razorback, an ally of Spider-man and She-Hulk, a trucker with a heart of gold and a wild-boar costume. I give him Damage field because he has an "electrical mane".

This fellow is not a C list member. I'm sure veterans of the forum have good memories of him. Oh, how I miss him in the current Marvel universe...

ROM (Best of the Space Knights) (Powerhouse)
M  6''
BD  9
PD  6
Major powers: Resistance
Minor powers: Armor, Flight, Super Strenght, Enhanced Senses, Power Blasts, Tough
Backgrounds: Alien, Public safety

An another hero to match the awesomeness of ROM:

Phone Ranger (Street level) http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix3/phoneranger.htm
M  6''
BD  5
PD  5
Minor powers: Armor, Savant
Backgrounds: Blue Collar
Trade offs: Glass Jaw
I choose Savant to represent his ability to hack mobile phones and Wi-Fi, and Armor because his plastic cable custome save his life when the Scourge of the Underworld shot him, but it seems to much for him. Maybe he could be a good representative of the mentioned "low-key characters". Could he be BD 4, PD 4 and the Savant power?

Haha, the Phone Ranger. He's great, one of the victims of a Scourge member I believe. There's a great Paperback comic out about that, with a reprint of the panels you posted here as well.  :)

Cool conversions! You have me tempted to buy some Clix and get converting villains and heroes.
