Haha, the Phone Ranger. He's great, one of the victims of a Scourge member I believe. There's a great Paperback comic out about that, with a reprint of the panels you posted here as well.  :)

Cool conversions! You have me tempted to buy some Clix and get converting villains and heroes.

Thanks, FreakyFenton. Yes, Phone Ranger was one of the always interesting victims of the Scourge...BUT! he didn't die, which is always remarkable, giving the high number of deaths in Scourge's hands.

Armless Tiger Man is so ruthless that I was tempted to gave him a Brawler profile, but I finally chose a Street level one, mainly because, ugly as he is, his feet nails can't be on the same level than Wolverine's claws. And about the Hypno-Hustler...he doesn't need presentation. A Disco-Funky-baddie, he shines as a disco-ball each time he confronts Spider-Man.

Best wishes and the best gaming for the new year, gentlemen.

Here in our house we continue with our games with the most obscure characters in the Marvel universe. As the kids wanted a theme game, I searched for the most Christmas villain ever (the Christmassest?) and they prepared his minions, robot snowmen- who, at certain point of the game, appeared to be taken directly from a certain comic strip about a kid and his tiger-. And, of course, he needed to be opposed by his great arch-nemesis, the Great Lake Avengers.

The game went smooth, with a lot of funny moments. The kids had a great time shooting eye-lasers from their snowmen and causing havok in the town square of Muskego,  Wisconsin, and threatening poor civilians who only want a hot chocolate and return gifts on Boxing day. Big Bertha used a bench to disarm one of the robo-snowmen. Dinah Soar and Flat Man distracted and entangled the villain. Grashopper was the MVP jumping over the snowmen and knocking down them. Mr Inmortal died from a sharp-carrot nose impact and returned from death. And, at the end, Christmas is saved by a whisker.

Oh, the criminal mastermind:

This is really old, a pre-Marvel age character.

The Blonde Phantom (Street level)
M 6''
BD 5
PD 5
Minor powers: Melee specialist, Gadgets
Backgrounds: Athletics, Espionage

You probably remember her as She-Hulk secretary during John Byrne's legendary run. Here is at her finest, when she fights criminals and nazis. I give her Gadgets to represent her gun and also her wits as a night detective.

And one of our few Spanish heroes, so stereotypical you must love him (I do, even when his Latin-lover attitude is kind of embarrassing) Stun is included to represent his mutant powers. He could generate bio-electricity and discharge it through his sword.

El Įguila!
M 6''
BD 5
PD 5
Minor powers: Melee specialist, Stun
Backgrounds:Business, Athletics

Slyde (Street level)
M 12''
BD 5
PD 5
Minor powers: Frictionless, Fast
Backgrounds: Science, Criminal

Steel Spider (Street level)
M 8''
BD 5
PD 5
Minor powers: Multiple limbs, Super-agility
Backgrounds: Science, Public safety

Here you have two characters from Spider-man forgotten foes. Slyde's only power is a frictionless costume, a perfect subject for the power of the same name appeared in Super Mission Force:Athwart Time!. Ollie Osnick, the Steel Spider, was a chubby teenager who named himself "Spider-man sidekick". He was not. Years later, he grow up as a muscular young man an adopts a 90's vigilante attitude. Poor guy ended with an arm in the stomach of Venom when he confronted him.

Great additions! I do only remember Slyde from seeing him featured as a brief encounter in some comics. Great to know the characters name now.

Steel Spider was also a part of either the Thunderbolts or the Dark Avengers, so definitely a fav of mine.  :)

Cracking job, Davies!

...

Slyde (and the mutant Skids) were the reason I wrote the power up!
