next one

here comes the Zaamuretz rail cruiser

gosh, that's a huge thing, even though I reduced the length compared to the original...
obviously, had to be mounted on bogies, to be able to take the curve
gun turrets as before, the gun casemattes out of Q-tip boxes (reinforced).
still struggling with the MG positions...

the front and rear sections were a little problematic.
I don't like the many "catchy corners" of the original, and the design seemed a little "boxy", so I decided to "improve" the design a bit
allthough out of the hexagon system, it gave me a bit of a headache. the original fastening clips would leave too much space between the edges, so I glued them together with reinforcements.
the remaing clips will be filed down a little

There's something about those platformer bits... But I like where this is going.

Sorry to not having reported progress for some time
there is a chance I might not manage to fulfill the deadline since there is another deadline that is devouring me at the moment

some new changes for a piece of writing I have to submit quite soon - which is more important than hobby...

but there is no question the piece will be finished, since it is some kind of commission
