There is no GJ Joe... only Action Force. (while waving two fingers)

I stand corrected on the Red Shadows though, I thought they were a division of COBRA. Baron Ironblood and Cobra Commander are one and the same person (which is probably why I got confused) but he created COBRA after Action Force defeated his Red Shadow forces.

COBRA had the Crimson Guard, possibly you've confused them with Red Shadows?

The Q force vehicles were great.

See, I liked Cobra and speaking to friends in the pub last night, so did they. Cobra had better vehicles for a start, the Red Shadow flying skull/tiefighter thing was just stupid. Mostly though, even as a kid, I recognised that the Red Shadows were just nazi stormtroopers. Cobra was more interesting.

Cobra hardly had better vehicles as stuff like the Red Shadow Hyena was a repackaged Cobra Venom or Hiss or something and the SAS Force Helicopter was the Cobra Fang... they were just a different colour  lol...

blood for the baron is a great website though with all the toys and what they were derived from... a lot of stuff used GI Joe molds and vice versa in some weird trade agreement... Red Laser was a repainted Cobra Commander if memory serves...

Will I be considered a heretic if I say "I want a platoon of those to use them as Sardaukar"?  ???  :-*

I did think that myself actually, David Lynch interpretation notwithstanding. ;)

Glad you like them. More 'random sci fi nonsense that I can use for my own lunatic purposes' is being considered.

Oh, and for you WW1 types fear not, I may have got over my slump. The balance of the French and Indian troop packs are being dusted off and finished and most of the new head sprues are awaiting master moulding.

There is even a sprue of 'experimental German helmets with clamshell face armour' available from the Beasty boys upon request for you Shadow fans.

I might have to get some of those.  I've been wanting to make some Cobra soldiers (sorry, that's what I grew up with.  Didn't have Action Force) for a long time now.  Sadly my conversion skills are not that great yet.

were the space troopers repaints of a GI Joe figure then? Blood for the Baron usual says when something was a borrowed model, but it doesn't for the space troopers...
