I used to have a Jacobite rebellion game. It would have made a great background
for a campaign &, now I have 28mm figures for the 45, I can't find another copy

The areas on the map each had their own number. I think pro-Jacobites were low,
while pro-Government were high. If your army moved into another area you diced
& added the score to the area's number. For the Jacobites, If the result was below 7
you gained recruits. Above 7 you suffered deserters, sick etc. (Situation reversed for
the Government player.) Thus it encouraged Bonny Prince Charlie to land way up in
Scotland, tour around building up an army, then marching south. Hoping that the
army was big enough to survive the shrinkage befor it reached the Government
army/armies.
Would work very well for a campaign backdrop. Anyone got a copy they don't want?
