Looking for 20mm 1/76 scale village scatter
« on: 21 September 2022, 11:55:41 AM »
I Haven't been able to find anything I could use for village scatter terrain in 20mm scale

particularly looking for a simple stone well, barrels and an abandoned cart?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

No well or barrels but Irregular have carts in their 20mm range:

This company prints a 1/76 well:

Sgt's Mess might be worth a look, though most of it is 20th century

Since 1/76 scale is UK Railway "OO" gauge, there are multitudes of model railway accessories you can find. Here is one example - a search on GaugeMaster (a large hobby shop with a very good website) for OO scale barrels - 16 results including packs with sacks and pallets and many styles of barrels.

Thanks for the suggestions

I'm looking for something basic/ rough around the edges like this one by Italeri - £20 feels a bit steep since I don't want the tents though

Use a piece of cardboard tube, and stick brick shapes on the outside. Paint it with a very thing coat of filler (paint thickness) to give some  texture and paint as normal

Anyscale Models https://www.anyscalemodels.com/ do a lot of bits and pieces in 20mm, 1/76, 1/72 scale.
Wargamers do it on a table.

Basic D&D terrain will give you what you need. It's about the right scale

Have a look at Langley Miniatures. They make all sorts of scatter for model railways.
