But if you increase the size, should be great in 28mm as well of course :)

I had such beautiful plans for the easter weekend. Getting sick friday evening wasn't one of them. Coughing and painting don't mix, using the mechanical jigsaw and coughing however do (well, up to a point).

Now I had this idea before when I was working on the Bunker parts, but they would always be too neat to use in that way so nothing came of it. Back then I also thought doing something like this wasn't something I would like anyway.

Well, FFW 6 months, lots of changes and a trip to get free offcuts of wood and a day of just cutting parts and sticking them together. A bit rough, needs filler and some time with the sander and the dremel but you get the general idea. It's made from 2-3mm MDF, won't be based so I can switch it all around to keep it fully modular (as usual really). Everything has a lift off roof. I'll dremel in windows as well. Height varies between 35mm to 45mm per level, doorways are 30mm tall and just about 20mm wide. Stick on details , balconies etc can come later.

Now why did I make these? I dunno, not a period I have models for or am really interested in. Then again, I have some 20mm Stargate figs, or I can use some of Elhiems pulp figs. Or I just make them as 1 big excercise and sell them afterwards. We'll see.

Some examples what I can do with this basic lot:

Nothing grandiose, nothing major, sometimes not even quite straight but modular, just the way I like em, as well as dirt cheap.

The angled building is a great idea. It really gives it that claustrophobic feel in some of the configurations.
