Soldiers of Shropshire Regimental Museum - Shrewsbury Castle

Back in a very sunny July of this year, Mr Steve and I spend a very pleasant few hours exploring the treasures held by the Soldiers of Shropshire Regimental Museum.



The collection has some amazingly rare artefacts to be seen and I have posted a summary of our visit to give a flavour of the collection as a whole.

Thanks for posting this, it was a good read & very thorough, it reminds me I would like to do a little more reading into the Seven Years War & War of 1812...but then again you mentioned many campaigns across the world...and fighting in battles I had never heard about.

Our local museum. Been very lucky to be part of heritage open days there as part of Shrewsbury Wargames Society and put on display games. Stunning place. Great review!

Steve and I had a great stay in Shrewsbury and enjoyed our stay in the town for a couple of days back in July, with the Shrewsbury Regimental Museum one of the many highlights.
