Cool! Normally I am not a fan of squigs, but I like these. I think maybe it is down to the colour- the garish paint jobs I have usually seen just look … comical. I realize that the highly random behavior of squigs is part of the humorous, comical goblin style in WFB, but it never really tickled me. These, on the other hand, look like some horrifying carnivores evolved to hunt in caves. Pale skins and jaws almost as wide as the tunnels they dash through…

Yeah, I'm not actually a huge fan of squigs...but making a small Night Goblin force I need "some" variety for them, and these were second-hand off eBay.  The pale skin is because of the 'cave' concept, indeed.

Nice work! I agree on the pale skin- it gives them a creepier, "cave creature" look!

Well, today my largest ever single hobby purchase showed up on my porch.

I snuck an order in with Mark over at Crescent Root Studios, and a whole town showed up on my porch.  It'll mainly be used for FSF (a Tileant town or similar), but will obviously serve as Mexico for Old West...or lose some of the tile roofs and go middle eastern, etc.

A few more pics over on the blog as normal.

Yeah Crescent Root does nice stuff (you pay for it though!)

Here is a quick table I threw together since someone wanted to ask what it looked like "in situ".

Very impressive indeed! Looks like it'd work pretty well for Mordheim and most of the similar games it's spawned over the years too.

Nothing too exciting, just more skirmishing Night Goblins.  Fortunately, I "only" have 20-30 more to do.
