WW2 project in 1/35

Love them! You have quite the big collectors. I'm in the middle of painting some more 1/35 figures for gaming as well, but it's been a few years since I picked up a brush, so it's slow going.

These are production figures, the one with the jerry can is from Thebodi, the kneeling is from Resin Division. The former one is resin, the kneeling one is a 3d print, it came in one piece, together with the rifle, even with the rifle strap. Removing the supports was a bit tricky though.

Jokes aside, these are figures on 30mm bases, you do not need much bigger space than for 28mm.

I do not know where to post, but I post it here, a handy tool I designed for my 1/35 gaming rules. 10cm is the general movement distance, 2-3 cms are important for burst shots (the rest are for the postapo figures using the same rules but more varied equipment, 4cm is zombie movement, 7-8-9cm are the typical movement distances for armoured figures)

Lot of people did like that, me also. We were a minority in the local wargame club as most people came from the pen&paper RPG side. It was funny as for us a loads of techniques (especially for vehicles) were quite evident long before it made its way into the wargame painting scene.

That's a great looking figure. I wish someone would produce a better range of early war Hungarians in 28mm. I'd love to use them ahainst my Czechs and Slovaks.

That's why I said 'better' range of Hungarians.  Most seem to be set up for late war anyway, just like the WG ones.

I checked that range, most of them are fine from 1935-1947 (1941 onwards is written as Hungary only entered ww2 in that year) save maybe the Paks and the Buzogányvet?. Same applies for the Warlord range, their hardware sometimes appeared later but the figures themselves are fine for early war too - Hungarian uniform did not change that much during ww2 like for example German or Soviet (especially regarding 28mm figures).
