Looks fun. I doubt it will be in many theaters so look forward to seeing it on Netflix or Amazon.

Henh. It'll never top the 1947 Cecil B DeMille technicolor classic Unconquered, starring Gary Cooper, Paulette Goddard, and Boris Karloff in redface and a fright wig as Guyasuta, Chief of the Senecas.

Well... I don't know a great deal about Col Bouquet's love life, other than his habit of the apparently at that time novel action of presenting ladies with bunches of flowers leading to them being given his name, but how often do we get a film about Pontiac's War/Rebellion? I'll be watching out for it as the action scenes look promising ;-)

Atheling, I think it'll be in here as although this section encompasses quite a lot of Renaissance subjects, the French & Indian War also falls in here among others, the Battle of Bushy Run being the biggest engagement of the uprising of formerly French-allied nations in the wake of the French surrender.  :)

Cheers,
Lance

Looks like it could be a pretty good movie.
Will go see it.
I have played lots of games set in the time period.
Lots of fun.

I also live about 20 minutes from Bushy Run, more like 15 really.

I'm on the Board of Directors for the site. We just had our battle reenactment this weekend past.

@Pictors Studio - if you would like me to come run some "Song of Drums and Tomahawks" games at your visitors center, I would love to do that! Here's an example of the games we ran at Historicon this summer:

I agree with the above...F&I War and the various related conflicts definitely belongs here with the Muskets and Flouncy Shirts...  :D

Hmm, just did some checking and can't find anything on release of the movie.  Perhaps an independent production that didn't get picked up for distribution - not uncommon.  Don't recognize any of the names associated with the movie.

Tried to watch the trailer but too much time spinning around and too little getting to see what was on offer.  The fort looked like a model in the brief bit I saw, almost certainly a drone shot (much more common and affordable than aerial plane or chopper shots).  Production value seemed okay but hard to tell.  Very choppy editing, no shot I saw long enough to get a sense of the movie.

So, if anyone knows more about whether it will get to theaters or maybe will go (already done?) direct to video (or streaming?), please share.  Hope it is a good movie because I'd love to add more 18th century warfare movies to my collection, especially North America based stories.  Not going to get my hopes up too high just yet.

Adam Baldwin is in it. He plays Amherst. He was on X-Files for a couple of years.
