Just some in game photos for the summoning bell.
« on: November 30, 2022, 04:42:17 PM »
On our club night we took a break from playing through Thaw of the Lich Lord as less than half of us could attend.  The three of us decided to play a one off game with level one wizards.  We chose the Summoning bell to make it interesting.  It opened with two zombies in one corner, a wild dog, a ghoul and a Worm so it looked promising.  All the monsters thereafter but two came from only one corner.  It was mostly giant rats, toads and ghouls so they really did not interfere much with the bands.  Everyone managed two treasures at least one monster and two Ulterior Motives were collected.  We had to stop the game for time as the club was closing up.  All in all it was lots of fun.  Lost my apprentice and two troops One of which was pushed eighteen inches off the top of the main building.  Everyone else lost at least two models.  Hope you like.

This alley way was the focus of most of the combat.  Two treasures and few exits.

A few more photos on my blog if you are interested.

Excellent table, you guys have some fantastic terrain. I really like the buildings.

Thanks for the comps all.

It is.  I picked up two before I immigrated years ago.  I don't know if he is still trading or not.  If he is and you order be sure to give six to eight months lead time before you need the mat and do not expect any contact regarding the order.  He would always deliver but the delay and lack of comms is difficult to live with.

High praise and thank you.  I do almost all of my terrain with a sepia pallet.  That way I can use color on the focal points and it makes it easier to see models on the table becasue they stand out.

Sorry, I tend to really suck at play by play descriptions of games.

That central temple looks grand!
I do have the Thingiverse mausoleum too, every Frostgrave table should have one of those.
