My ACW project- All Complete!

I've started work on an ACW project.
Similar to my Crimean War project using Neil Tomas' rules. Each army will have eight infantry, two cavalry and two guns as a basic force (with commanders). The Union will get a third gun and the Confederates an extra unit of mounted raiders.

Two units of each so far (waiting on a single flag)

I got a replacement Maryland flag from GMB Designs (the Redoubt one wasn't very nice) and I've painted the 6th Wisconsin Volunteers to represent the Iron Brigade.





Next up, the Virginia Military Institute cadets.

Great work on those.  Love those fellas from the Iron Brigade.  And a hearty Huzzah for those Marylanders - my great-great-grandfather fought in the 3rd Maryland (Union) in the ACW (before he transferred to the 6th US Cavalry after Antietam).

Nothing to do with the thread, but I used to know an American from there and he would always tell me off for pronouncing it "Mary-land" instead of "Marrylind".  He also felt himself qualified to "correct" all our pronunciations of English place names too though

Quick update, five infantry units for both sides and a Union skirmish unit completed so far.
