Your painting style is truly remarkable, have you considered doing a painting tutorial maybe on YouTube?

Thank you for the kind words.  To be honest, I have no spare time for such things anymore. With a full time job and a family I'm happy to find time to paint, and share some photos.

Tutorials in video format take a lot of time to record and edit, I did some stuff for youtube a few years ago but the number of views was not worth the effort.

I highly recommend already existing YouTube painters such as Marco Frisoni (great tutorials and info on adding oil paints to your minaiture painting), Squidmar and Ninjon, as well as  Vince Venturella’s Hobby Cheating videos that handle a lot of painting tips and tricks.

That Ithaqua is truly a scary looking beast. Your paint jobs really makes these miniatures come to life.

Last old one box (boss), Azathoth and his dancers of Azathoth.

This miniature really made me question whether or not I would actually finish painting it or not. What you see is the result of 4 (four) repainted versions, I ended up watching a YouTube video of a guy (Trehane Miniatures) who painted this mini up to a very nice standard and copied most of his steps. At this point I was at the deep end of "fuck it" and just wanted to be done with it. I was so annoyed and spent when I moved on to painting the minions that I barely bothered adding additional steps after the airbrush+ oil wash.

I may check the various scenario boxes for season 3 and the stretch goals to see if I can find miniatures that may actually be fun to paint as so far it has been a joyless slog for the most part.

Alternatively I may paint up some more investigators. At least thos minis have clearly defined details and are a bit more painter friendly.

Azathoth turned out well in the end, even if it was a slog to get there. It sort of seems fitting that it challenged your sanity, it is Cthulhu-related after all…

They look suitably crazy, I like the choice of colours.

Thanks guys!

The whole family came down with a nasty cold this weekend that had me knocked out for several days, yesterday I was in decent enough shape to start painting the color out of space lost episode box, and finished it this evening. Hope to paint up Dreams in the Witch house tomorrow.

Painting this mini I wish I had the color shift paints from GreenStuffWorld. That would have achieved an awesome effect in no time.

I tried to match the artwork as closely as possible, but I think that painting this up in color shifting colors and the human shapes in some radiactive tone would have been cooler.

Dreams in the witch house box painted up, Keziah Mason and Brown Jenkin. Had a pretty fun time painting these two.
Still waiting, impatiently, for color shift paints to arrive so I can repaint my color out of space mini which is really bothering me at this point.
