btw, great results with the AK ultra matt varnish too- which has me scratching my head, as I tried it a while back and found it way too flat.

You've still got a full contrast range, with deep shadows and blacks. Guess it's something to do with your techniques and materials.

And again, I think you do some of the most striking and brilliant paint-jobs around. So painterly, and well 'seen'.
You even make figures which I suspect are rather average look fantastic.

Those are AWESOME! I wish I could do investigator's faces like that. Mine always end up looking like Bozo the clown.
