I built the general store first and took a few pics for scale etc. You've just reminded me I haven't uploaded them.... off I go.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Here we go with a couple of my Deadlands PC's for scale reference. I really need to force them to paint their figures (well my figures, but you know). One is a converted EM4 savage to make an Indian Brave and the other is an actual Deadlands figure, one of the later ones.

And before anyone says anything, I know I should use a marker on the edges. Currently I'm making a paper/card corn field though for the current scenario.

Oh, and my insistant helper through all of this  >:( :D

(She's a pain but destined to paint daddy's figures)

The building looks great - I'll have find time to make a couple myself. Are you going to do the old brown felt tip pen trick with the card edges? The white bits are a little off-putting, otherwise it's a very effective model  :D

Obviously the "helper" made all the difference  ;)

edit  Bugger, missed the bit about using the marker. Sorry!   >:(   lol

A great source of paper western buildings is Whitewash City from Hotz Arts

They have several different sets with just about anything you might want..

The only issue I have with the Whitewash City range is they're rather small with many figures. They're fine with the old Foundry range like the towns-people sets but the doors are too low for the later Foundry stuff such as the Mountain Men, Outlaws, Posses etc. They're ridiculously small next to the bigger figures like Black Scorpion.

That said, if you don't mind that then they do have a very good range.

They look fine next to my Old Glory and Knuckleduster 28's. My Blue Moon townspeople are close to 30mm and even on flat bases they look too big. I haven't seen the newer Foundry figures but I am sure Black Scorpion 30mm on those tall bases would look way too big next to Whitewash City buildings.

Yeah, I regard Old Glory as rather small, but they do fit in with the old Foundry range. The Black Scorpion guys are bigger than 30mm though, not got any to hand down here but I'd say they're 32mm at least.
