.45A weapons question
« on: 08 April 2007, 02:04:41 PM »
Hi

I'm a little in doubt how to handle the '+6" range' upgrade for weapons.

Does it give +6" to the highest range band for the particular weapon (i.e. a pistol would get Medium Range 24")?

As I come to think of it, that would be the solution, as my other solution - to create a new range (i.e. LR for pistol) would not work for a weapon that already has a Long Range stated....

Does the rulebook state it somewhere?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

You add 6" to EACH range band. So your close range becomes longer and your medium range becomes longer, and if you have a long range, it becomes longer as well.

If you had an 8" Short range and an 18" Medium range, they would now be 14" and 24" respectively.
