I saw the game recently and liked the look of it, especially after watching the Ad Astra lunar shootout scene.

Your lunar board is superb, l look forward to following your project.

That's a great little project you have. Keep posting updates. Will there be moon mobile car chases?

Very nice but I can't help thinking that the whole thig has been shot on a back lot at MGM.  ;)
I tried the same thing, I set up a 15mm fake lunar project to simulate a 32mm lunar project but the lighting was all wrong and little details kept the 28mm conspiracies flying. I eventually just started a full Lunar Project to avoid conjecture.  lol lol

Currently I only have one NASA moon buggy, so a chase will have to wait till the others I have ordered are delivered.

I didn’t realise how long it had been since I painted mine: March 2020 and still waiting for a game...

Please post some pictures of your figures. Inspiration for the Forum.
I'm still working on finishing up my NASA team so I'm also still waiting on a game. If your anywhere in the Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas area maybe we can work in a game.

Thank you all for the compliments on the moonscape, I cant take credit for the idea, just the build. the following video was produced by Black Site Studios:
I followed the build to the point of the grout covering that didn't quite work out as nicely as the video.
The finished product is a Heavy terrain piece (weight) that is prone to chipping if not sealed. It is however a quick build with inexpensive materials.

Shortly behind the Soviets on the Moon the U.S.A. is now establishing teams to exploit the vast quantities of Helium-3 speculated to be on the Lunar surface.

Honestly they are simple water-slide decals I purchased on EBay. I’ve been searching for decals for all the factions with limited success depending on the Nation. I wrote to Black Site Studios to suggest some decals and they assured me they were in the works. I also suggested visor reflection of the moon’s landscape to add to the decals.
The placement of the decals aren’t historically accurate but I like the way they looked.
My camera has had a lot of trouble with the white black contrast giving the photos a terrible grainy quality. I hope to work that out soon to produce better photos.

LM Lander by Black Site Studios.

Builder's Note: This Kit like most of the ones from this site was an afternoon Project. A lot less time than I spend on the 5 man teams for the game Lunar. there is a lot of flash and sprue clean-up. The model is fairly sturdy sans the support struts which after priming become brittle. They support almost no weight so I just glued them back. I highly recommend pinning the Landing gear to the chassis.
I painted this craft Gunmetal silver to look like the museum pieces from the museum displays on line, in spite of knowing the craft would have been covered in white paint to keep the internal temperatures manageable by its crew. It just looked more "Soviet" in this color. All Decals were cannibalized from old 1/48 Soviet aircraft models and Rub-on transfer lettering.

That Soviet moon lander is perfect, it's so wonderfully.... Soviet.  :-* :-* :-*

The fact that it's apparently part of the 7th Independent Guards Heavy Tank Brigade is even better.
