There hasn't been a lot of mention on the Lead Adventure Forum about the Black Site Games release of Lunar. https://blacksitestudio.com/products/lunar-starter-box-1 So I'm going to give it a try.
Having a dozen or so unfinished projects already in the works resisting the overwhelming urge to start another eventually gave way to me buying into the basic game...several expansions and extra terrain pieces.  ::)
This of course means I started a blog to track the development of what I'm hoping to keep within the confines of less that 25 figures and a 2ft by 2ft playing surface. I've said this before and ended up with games you can measure in square meters. Wish me luck.

I see... :? Unfortunately, it seems that will continue to be the case then:

Oh well, good luck with the project anyway!  :)

This is a highly interersting project!

I always wanted to do something like this. There are some nice models available through shapeways e.g. https://www.shapeways.com/product/YTHZ3M6AX/iss-emu-astronaut-combo-1-50-72-100-144?optionId=70403730&li=shops
and it's a good excuse to buy a 3d printer to make use of all the models available at thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1889276 or https://www.thingiverse.com/maxgrueter/designs
or some paper models for the big like https://web.archive.org/web/20110119033932/http://www.pe2tr.nl/bouwplaten/gemini/

hope, that the company will sell through a distributor in europe, too

So this is a project that had to be put aside due to several competing Projects but finally an Update!

First it is extremely difficult to have a lunar program without a Moon......

Plaster construction of a Lunar surface for game play.

Article Here: https://lunarslander.blogspot.com/2023/08/mensa-superficies-planum.html
I've named this sector Mensa Superficies Planum or as close as I could get to "Plains of Tabletop" in Latin.

The Second update is the first team of Cosmonauts I have painted.

Do to the alternate timeline in both the Lunar core book and the Apple Streaming Show "For All Mankind" I painted them first in honor of them being the first to land on the moon.

Very nice but I can't help thinking that the whole thig has been shot on a back lot at MGM.  ;)

Wonderful board and figures.

I have in the past been tempted by a small project using GZG's Moongrunt stuff...

Yes, I got Brits and PRC at SELWG at Crystal Palace which are based and undercoated (the PRC are going to be washed with red).

I didn’t realise how long it had been since I painted mine: March 2020 and still waiting for a game...
