In addition to painting super bright and vibrant Masters of the Universe models, I also love the dark fantasy style of the soulsborne video games (Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring). I have already painted a lot of Bloodborne models for the board game and I am now working on fantasy models for a game I am working on. So far the models I have done are all 3D prints from Bestiarium Miniatures, expertly printed by a mate. Normally I feel 3D prints are often quite clinical and lack character, but Bestiarium is fantastic. Terrific sculpts and they paint up fast as well. Here is what I have done so far.

Are these representing specific things from the Souls Games, or just recreating the feel? I am pretty familiar with Demon's Souls, Bloodborne and Elden Ring, but oddly I've never played any of the Dark Souls Games.

One of the starting character options in Elden Ring is a prisoner type, and it looks quite similar to your man in the iron mask chap at the bottom.

Loving this, really looking forward to more.

Cheers lads! And it's recreating the look and feel. These are obviously heavily inspired by the Soulsborne games, but are Bestiarium's own designs. It's probably because I'm now deep in Elden Ring that this project was started ;)

They look horrible, but in a great way. They're quite creepy sculpts and your painting has really brought that out.

Well done!  Very atmospheric sculpts from Bestiarum, and paint jobs to match.

Very unique models, and very atmospheric painting - well done!  :)

I really like the hood/helmet on this one for some reason (perhaps because it's so impractical?):

These are great! Are you familiar with the game Blasphemous at all? This definitely captures a similar aesthetic!

Thanks guys! And yes, the looks fits Blasphemous a lot. That game also fits in with the whole Soulsborne genre very well and Bestiarium's miniatures are a nice nod to these.
Painted four more (and have a lot of WIP stuff to be finished), the "Repentants", but I named them Inflictors for my own game. Heavily inspired by Dark Souls' Artorius and they will make great heavy infantry.

Thanks! The models are just so much fun to paint. Lots of textures and awesome details. I have finished five more:

Xanthous the sorceror

Sme flimsy parts broke off, but you hardly see it. Great model to paint and VERY Dark Souls in vibe and gear.

Cultists

Great models with fantastic skin textures. By now the number of cultists is getting to a good number for some games!
Next up will be more cultists and heavily armoured guards with tower shields and big maces.

Those are some of the coolest cultists I think I've seen. Great work!
