Gettysburg re-enacted "old school" 25mm style
« on: 26 April 2023, 05:02:15 PM »
Great little summary of the battle illustrated with thousands of old-school wargame figures, mainly RSM and Hinchliffe but pretty much all the classic ranges are present (listed in the credits).
A lot of one off conversions and unique resculpts amongst them.

Great film. I have it on VHS but no longer have a player. Glad to see it's on YouTube.

Didn't watch the whole thing - yet - but did check out the end credits, lots of 15 mm figures.

But what makes this more impressive, according to the credits, is that this was shot with film, not a video.  That would have made this quite the undertaking as well as a bit of a crapshoot depending on how good the cinematographers and lighting folk were.  Film is whole different breed from video.
