I actually paid top dollar to see this piece of, whatever. Fortunately, I was watching it in a boutique cinema and after an hour, in dire need of brain bleach, I was able to pop out to the foyer and buy a bottle of red and a straw: Unfortunately, a brain stain remains.

I just hope Spielberg's effort is going to be better - it would be hard not to be.

Finally watched this on a plane last week. It really is as bad as everyone says.

Watching it on a plane destroyed the few good things it offered in terms of photography, costumes and sets.  I found it was worth the 2£ I spent on it at a matinee—-in which a  free cup of tea and biscuits was included for the price of admission.
