Brilliant new Future Wars vehicle - with new pics
« on: November 08, 2009, 08:55:47 PM »
From Hotwheels!

I bought two from Toys'R'Us today. I'd have bought more but they only had two :(

My instant thought upon seeing one was that it'd be great for inner city "Infinity" type games as scenery or as transport for a street gang. I'm now thinking of swapping the tyres for something rugged and turning them into 'Outriders' for my Warthogs and whatever apc I decide to put with them.

It's cool, I managed to find one in my local Asda.

Toys'R'Us or Asda, they both sell Mega Bloks and Hotwheels,  lol.

97p in Asda.

Perfect for loads of genres.

Outriders, easy convert into USCM Mongoose quads! Wicked.

Yep, that'd look good on the future streets :)

Any guesstimate on what the scale is?

Works for 28mm. It's toy car size, so it's made to fit packaging etc rather than to an actual scale. I'll see if I can get a pic with some figures next to it later. Most of my stuff is in storage though so I can't promise they'll be useful figs to have stood next to it :D

Nice, reminds me of Matakishi's mouse vehicles a bit:

Somehow I've managed to miss those pics on Matakishi's site  >:(

Those mouse aircars are wonderful and look like pretty easy conversions. They would be ideal for some future police I'm contemplating.

Must try and find a cheap mouse or two, or three....  lol

Jed's stuff (www.barrule.com) is bloody lovely, the bikes and flyers are nice, though I show you lot the civilian car though first off in keeping with the thread.

Jed's also working on a quadbike and a military 4x4 of piggy extraction. ;)
