Thanks fellas. I made some progress with my "masonry" front. The initial blocks I glued in at the base and roof line did not work to add emphasis as I had planned but they turned out to be very useful to maintain block alignment. I hope to finish the front today but I need to be patient to let the glue set well. Then there will be some delicate trimming and filling. Then I will address the sides and a small portion of the back that will be visible.

The facade is mostly finished, just needs to be trimmed and filled a bit. The door cut and a wine bottle foil ready to be cut down into hinges and doorhandle

It looks like we have a tropical storm coming in and it will hit Guam pretty much dead on. This means that I will probably lose power for at least a couple of days. Mostly because our power grid was just hammered earlier this year by Super Typhoon Mawar and hasn't recovered. So, I am trying to speed this up as much as possible. I will get the photos of the undercoated project up later today. I am not sure if the power will be up and I will be able to submit the final project  . Anyway, here is the final texturing with sand.





I think the contrast from the small patches of sand make a difference.

Thanks fellas! The storm will be a typhoon by the time it is in the neighborhood. All we can do is hope that it misses us. Oh, and yeah, push forward on my build as quickly as possible!
