Din that was a great battle report. All the way through I was sure the Prussians would take too many casualties and pull back. Sorry you lost but c'est la guerre.

I do never want to blame luck and not bad strategy. But in crucial moments, Miltiades brought fantastic dice with the Prussians, the Austrian cavalry did not manage to move twice after having recovered and lost coordination with the Saxon Chevaulegers who entered as reinforcements.
And more than that, the Croats did not appear at all! If they entered the game in the woods, they would be a nasty thorn at the right flank of the Prussians.
I am happy I made my conclusions with this scenario and strongly believe it can be won by the Austrians as well.

that is a nice scenario and brilliant AAR again, thank you! I like those ESSEX-regiments btw..I think you have a natural talent for story-telling - what about a Prussian Sharpe in the SYW?
