Black Tree Design Miniatures
« on: 18 October 2023, 03:42:25 PM »
I have been going through my boxes of unpainted miniatures and found some rather Black Tree Design Greek miniatures. So I painted a few up and they painted up quite well. So I went online to see if the company still sells their Athenina and Spartans but it looks like they have discontinued the range.

does anyone out there know if they ar sold by anyone else?

Thanks

Apart from a couple of Roman sets they discontinued all their ancient ranges about a year or so ago. You could try asking them if they have any Greeks floating around otherwise you'll need to look on ebay.

I seem to recall hearing that they were contemplating a kickstarter to relaunch (remould?) their Ancients range...

I just did a search and they discontinued their ancients three years ago. There was a suggestion as you say that they were going to remould and kickstart the lines but after three years I'm guessing that aint happening.

Great Miniatures but bad management of the ranges under the original and the EOE orbis name, obviously the molds are worn out and the masters disappeared……
