So this is the stalagmite tile. Plenty of room to move in between them but enough there for some cover if needs be.

The ‘doorways’ get a little ramp of foam leading onto the ground and I’ll add some filler to smooth it out before gluing the sand in place. The gaps at the back of the rock face will also get some filling and then it can all be painted  :)

Any plans to make these ‘box frames’ commercially available?

Turns out one of my friends has a rather large laser cutter in a workshop so I managed to send him some simple images, similar to yours but with a few differences to fit the thing I'm after and in less than a few hours managed to churn out a few dozen 'boxes'.

No bother.

I painted a beastie for Sinbad (when I eventually decide on a figure  lol) and his crew to fight against. Lovely little sculpt from Conquest Games.

I really like the fur effect paint job. That's so well done and totally sells the lion-like nature of the beastie. And thematically the choice of mini is purrfect.
