Quick question: where does it state that the Character dying ends the game?

That is on page 19 of the main rulebook, under Major Injuries, end of the first paragraph, "If the Character dies the story is over. A new list must be written with a new Character."

so, keep those Characters safe...

Ah, I was unclear with my question:  Of course if the character actually dies (permanently, ceases to be, etc.), a new Threshold list should be drawn up.  However, in the course of a game, if the Character is removed with a major or minor injury (or runs off the table, etc.), does the game stop there or can the remaining non-Character Threshold models fight on?

Sorry, didn't quite get what you were driving at...for each game read the 'Ending The Game' section of the scenario...usually you keep on fighting until all the models from one side are removed.

Great.  I was confused by this sentence from the subject Batrep, as I thought the Doc was still alive:

With the character major injured - the game ends immediately.
