Looking for Russo-Japanese wargame rules
« on: 24 March 2024, 11:45:59 PM »
Back in the late 1980s one of the wargame magazines had a set of Russo-Japanese War rules that involved cards for the terrain that you turned over as you moved. I think it was a solo games the Japanese attacked a Russian trench. Miniatures Wargames I think was the magazine although I also used to subscribe to Wargames Illustrated back then.

Anyone remember these? Have a copy? Know which issue and is it still available?

Thanks

I think the article you are thinking of is in Wargames Illustrated issue number 1. It is about using playing cards to represent a night attack. The example is set in the Russo Japanese War.
