ID a papery thing
« on: June 25, 2024, 10:32:16 PM »
Help!

I know I’ve seen folks on YouTube working with green stuff on a sheet of paper of some sort that the GS doesn’t like to stick to… what is that?

I’ve got parchment paper in my head, but that can’t be right as that seems to be some fancy card stock.

I reckon, that was baking paper.

Baking/greaseproof paper most likely.
or perhaps a silicone baking mat.

+1 on both of these.  Waxpaper as sold in the states will work too.  Has more wax on the surface than greaseproof paper.

Your close.  It’s not parchment paper, it’s baking parchment, which is a posh sort of grease proof baking paper.  I believe it’s silicon treated rather than wax treated.
