A new batch of swarms
« on: 14 July 2024, 12:51:11 PM »
This concept is not mine.  It was from The Glenn's List here:  https://theglen.livejournal.com/16735.html
Enter 337. always struck a chord with me.   "Even if the rules allow it, I cannot control 20,000 pigeons and use them as flying piranha"
It stayed with me as a great big "what if?".
I found some suitable models from Etsy and they were soon in my hot little hands.  I used UV resin to glue the pidgins together and put them onto one of my springy flying bases.  Gave them a craptastic paint job and then took some less than adequate photos to post.
Here are a selection.  There are more on my blog if you are interested.

Some action shots.

The litch being pecked to death.

Hope you like.

A bottle of scotch and two aspirin a day will greatly reduce your awareness of heart disease.

Those look excellent! The paint job on the individual birds may be “craptastic” (appropriate for pigeons….), but the overall effect is just right.
