Tamai Class gunboat
« on: August 07, 2024, 06:33:23 AM »
Tamai Class gunboats were used on the Nile during the Sudan campaign. This model for use with 6mm figures was printed with the new Formlabs Form 4:

The STL files are available on Thingiverse here:

Work is underway on some variants.

Thank you, Both. The water is from MIG. It is their muddy water option for dioramas. Has a nice greenish colour when dry, overlying the brown of the MDF base.

Here is a screenshot of a variant, with armour plates and a bulwark. The upper deck cabin has a wooden exterior:

The STL files will be uploaded to Thingiverse.

Here is a view of the new hull with armour plating:

and the new middle deck option with cylindrical bridge and the wood clad cabin:

Not visible is the hatch into the bridge and the ladder for climbing up to the hatch. Both are on the other side.
